Donnell RawlingsBlue Note Comedy SeriesDonnell Rawlings first became recognized for his hilarious sketches as Ashy Larry on Chappelles Show and soon was known as a force both on and off the stage as a comedian, actor and podcaster.Donnell has won critical acclaim for his role on HBOs The Wire, as Dez in Pixars hit film Soul and is currently starring in Adam McKays HBO series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. He was honored by The African-American Humor Awards in 2021 with the Redd Foxx Award and will film his new special for Netflix this spring produced by Dave Chappelle. Besides his stand-out role as Ashy Larry on Chappelles Show, Donnell has also won critical acclaim for his role on HBOs The Wire and as Dez in Pixars hit film Soul.
